WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Hours of work: Mon – Fri 6am-3pm, Mon – Fri 3pm – 12pm
As a Warehouse Operative you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to the efficient running of the despatch / distribution process. You must also be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, nightshifts, early starts and late finishes as required. This role can also involve holiday/absence cover across differing shift patterns.
The role will require:
- Receipting and despatching of goods
- Stock management
- Waste management
- Machine operation
- Housekeeping
- General yard work
- General warehouse duties
Candidate Requirements;
Essential:
- Good general level of education
- Good work ethic and be flexible and reliable
- Ability to demonstrate you can work with minimum supervision
- Previous relevant experience in a despatch or warehouse environment with proven ability to provide a high level of customer service
Preferable:
- Recent and frequent certified fork-truck driving and/or shunter driving experience
- Machine operation experience
- Proficient in IT
