Due to significant growth, we are looking for talented, high performing, industry professionals to join our team as a Senior Java Developer.
It is an exciting time for us here at AquaQ, as along with the organic growth within our existing client base we have had a number of recent investment announcements focusing on internal training, growth and acquisitions.
You will be primarily working within the back-end development team and will gain exposure to the full software stack. You will use modern development tools and concepts to deliver high quality, best practice software solutions.
As a Senior Java Developer you will also have the opportunity to take the lead on projects, mentor and support junior members of the team, and have a key input in the development of the team moving forwards.
- Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Java Development
- Excellent client facing skills
- Prior experience of working in Capital Markets/Investment Banking is a plus but not essential
- Spring / Spring Boot
- Hibernate / JPA / SQL
- Relational Databases (PostgreSQL / Oracle)
- RESTful API development
- Testing (TDD/ Junit / Mockito / REST Assured)
- Git
- Linux/Unix
- Scrum / Kanban
