Dispatch Warehouse Operatives

Working Hours
45 hours per week Monday to Friday. 11:30am – 21:30pm
We are currently looking to recruit several Warehouse Operatives to join our Dispatch department. The role can involve a substantial amount of manual handing including lifting and moving some heavy items.
Previous experience working in a busy Warehouse environment is highly desirable but not essential.
Due to continued expansion, Day Lewis Plc an award-winning family owned business, consisting of one of the largest independent pharmacy chains in the UK and Europe. The warehouse teams are at the forefront of the business and key to the ongoing success and growth plan.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join this large, pro-active and energetic warehouse team in Croydon, Purley Way. You will be hard working, enthusiastic, committed and willing to learn. Forklift Certificate/ previous warehouse experience are desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent literacy skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time keeping skills.
- Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern to suit the warehouse
requirements.
- The personality to establish and maintain good working relationships
with all members of staff in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
- Effective communication skills within the warehouse and with other
departments.
- Excellent skills to help accommodate customer requests, queries or
services.
- A can-do attitude to progress self-development, through participation in
