Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for charismatic, self motivated Waiting Staff to join our team. Working in a high-pressured environment you must be a hardworking, team player with enthusiasm for delivering excellence. You must be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service at all times.

You will work within a team who take pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service that guests will value, striving to exceed expectations.

The Orangery at Delapre runs a successful café based within the historic settings of Delapre Abbey. Menus change seasonally and take inspiration from the walled garden. Additionally, the Abbey operates Hibiscus; Northamptonshire's dining venue of the year, weddings and high-end events where Waiting Staff will be expected to support.

If you have a desire to train, grow and develop in the hospitality sector this could be an ideal position for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Creating an exceptional dining experience for guests through charismatic and attentive service.

- Having a good understanding and knowledge of the menu offerings and the seasonal changes.

- Confidently recommending menu items to guests. Maintaining a clean working environment whilst adhering to health & safety standards.

- Professional and efficient service of prepared food and drink, whilst ensuring the final quality.

- Taking orders with accuracy and efficiency.

- Issuing and receiving payment correctly.

- Answering and managing guests queries and comments effectively and helping to resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.

- Working with the Front of House team and Kitchen team to create a smoothly run service each day.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £9.50 per hour
