Ear Care Practitioner
An exciting opportunity to join our Wax Team as an Ear Care Practitioner (Wax Removal Specialist) within Hidden Hearing covering the following locations and other areas around Anglia:
- High Wycombe
- Bedford
- Northampton
- Peterborough
The role offers a starting salary of £27,300 increasing to £29,993.60 after successful completion of probation period, Car or car allowance and commission and Bonus opportunity.
Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role will be to provide wax removal services to new and existing patients; you will also screen and refer patients to our registered dispensing staff for pure tone audiometry tests as appropriate. The appointments will be carried out at company branches and appropriate visiting sites.
Please note that this is a highly mobile role requiring travel to a range of locations. You will preferably have a background in the hearing or healthcare profession or be a registered HAD, HCA, or suitably accredited aural care professional who holds a current driving licence. You will be a member or be prepared to become a member of BSHAA, have good IT skills and technical ability at a level that enables the use of the company’s laptop and audiometric equipment and time and job management abilities to allow a well-planned and structured approach to workload.
We will also consider unqualified candidates with a relevant hearing or healthcare background who are willing to undergo the necessary training to achieve a qualification for wax removal procedures.
