Role Overview & Responsibilities

Chesterfield - Full time and agile working

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Economic Development Team for an experienced and capable individual to administer and monitor the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) for Chesterfield Borough Council.

Chesterfield Borough Council has been allocated £2.69m by Central Government to deliver projects that will build pride of place and increase life chances. This role will monitor and carry out the administration duties for the projects associated with this funding.

This is a new role; we are looking for candidates with knowledge and understanding of administering and monitoring projects to a high standard. You will also have the ability to initiate work independently and be able to work effectively in a local authority environment and establish positive relationships with project delivery partners. The post is funded by UKSPF for 2 years.

The Council is an excellent employer with rewarding conditions of service which include generous leave entitlement and sick pay, flexible and agile working, progressive HR policies, access to the local government pension scheme and discounted leisure membership and car parking.
