Role Overview: As a Senior Associate in the IT Project Management Office (PMO), you will be instrumental in driving project success across our agile project environments. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT project management tools and methodologies, particularly within the insurance or financial industries. The position is open to contractors with a potential for contract-to-hire, based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage IT projects using agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.Administer and optimize project management tools such as JIRA and Wrike, including performing Wrike admin duties to enhance project tracking and reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including tracking project performance and reporting on progress to senior management.Serve as a subject matter expert in data management within the IT PMO, utilizing knowledge of the insurance and financial sectors to drive decision-making and problem-solving.Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members or contractors, providing guidance and support to ensure project standards and deadlines are met.

Requirements:

Proven IT experience, particularly in managing agile projects within the insurance or financial industry.Expertise in using project management software tools such as JIRA and Wrike; certification or significant experience as a Wrike administrator is highly desirable.Strong understanding of the reinsurance business and its operational requirements.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Open to contractors, particularly those local to Nashville or Jersey City.
