Dobson Welch, are working with a small yet expanding womenswear soft separates supplier based in East London who is looking for a Wholesale Merchandiser to sit between production , design and sales due to an upturn in business.
As the Wholesale Merchandiser , you will be working with factories across Europe and the Far East and the retail buyers and you will very much be involved in updating a critical path and being responsible for maintaining information on all systems ensuring that order data is up-to-date and accurate, both internally and externally with manufacturers to guarantee all deadlines and deliveries are met foreseeing any issues and dealing with them before they arise, whilst liaising with suppliers, fabric mills/ agents, and factories. You will also be communicating with design on a daily basis ensuring they are kept up to date with all details of production, fabric testing, bulk approvals, sealing, bookings, pricing , negotiation and delivery date maintenance.
MUST-HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
Well versed and recent experience working in a UK based womenswear high street supply in a similar position of Wholesale Merchandiser
A track record of critical path management, dealing with UK buyers and overseas factories
Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Excellent command of MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel) and computer literate
Able to work under pressure and understand deadlines.
Be UK based and eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years
