Door Centre North East have the following exciting opportunity for a person to join our successful organisation within our Washington branch. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team. Previous warehouse sales experience is preferred.

Job Description

The main duties include:

. Gaining warehouse and trade counter experience to develop product knowledge

· Booking in stock and other warehouse duties

· Dealing with customer orders and queries

· Building relationships with customers

· Answering telephones and email

· Provide an efficient and professional service for customers

· Make customer deliveries when main driver unavailable

. Delivering parts to customers/fitters on site

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

. Be flexible and well organised

. Be confident and outgoing

. Have an excellent telephone manner

. Have a good standard of written English and strong verbal communication skills

. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

. Have the ability to work confidently using your own initiative and be able to prioritise and
organise work loads with support and instruction.

. Have a smart, professional appearance

. Be able to work well in a team and get along with colleagues

. A full UK clean driving licence essential

. Forklift license preferred, but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50 per hour
