Apparel Graphics & Print Designer

Sportswear Co. seeking a skilled & creative Women's Apparel Graphics & Print Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. and Photoshop. Knowledge of Browzwear & Lotta is a plus, but not required. The role responsibilities include creating visually appealing original prints, patterns & placed graphic designs for Fortune 500 companies. Additional tasks include processing & recoloring artwork, creating designs in various media, assisting with trend presentations, applying textures/fabrics, & possibly coloring 3D designs for the apparel industry.
Key Responsibilities:Create & execute concepts & designs for various projects, such as textile prints & patterns, retailer CADs, repeats, product designs, and packaging.Proof and process existing artwork, recolor prints & patterns, create mill ready artwork.Assist with the collection of trend images utilizing social media and trend services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, merchandising, and technical design to ensure designs align with brand guidelines, manufacturing standards and company objectives.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Must be experienced enough to see a project through design concept, development, & project execution.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and implement them into design processes.Comment on production approvals for artwork pattern & color.Create color cards & maintain color standard library.Possibly Color 3D assets using Browzwear VStitcher/Lotta
Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in textile design, graphic design, fashion design or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in textile cad design, preferably in women’s apparel. Experience in home furnishings, or similar will also be considered.
Required Skills & Knowledge:Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel & Word. Indesign, Browzwear & Lotta experience is a plus. Strong understanding of textile printing techniques and fabrics including knits, wovens and sweaters.Ability to create original and innovative designs that are on-trend and meet the target market's needs.Excellent eye for detail and color.Understanding of PLM Systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-motivated!Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentWorking with Walmart Experience a PlusApplicant must be up to date on the latest fashion trends to enable them to create designs that are on trend and appealing.
