They are a successful and rapidly growing privately owned business providing heat treatment, gear cutting and surface engineering of metal components to a wide range of blue-chip customers, they are looking to increase headcount at their Huddersfield site by recruiting a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis.
This employer is based in Huddersfield and the successful Warehouse Operative will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Oldham, Rochdale, Halifax, Brighouse, Bradford, and Elland.
Warehouse Operative Duties:
- Using the FLT to load/unload vehicles in accordance with daily requirements
- Deliver all components/materials to all lines
- Remove all excess goods from production lines within the specified time frame
- Liaising with both internal and external customers
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
Experience of the Warehouse Operative:
- Experience of working within, warehousing/ manufacturing environments
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- In date FLT Counterbalance Licence
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
In return, the Warehouse Operative will receive:
- Hourly rate of £11.00 per hour
- Working days Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
- Holiday Entitlement: 31 days per annum
- Overtime paid at uplifted rates
- Cycle to work scheme: Eligible after successful 3-month probation period
- Permanent employment with a well-established business
