Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Cardiac Catheter Suite including the primary PCI service and the co-ordination of the cardiology waiting lists for all elective and inpatient Catheter Suite services. Act as a point of contact and liaison between patients, GP's, wards, consultants and outside agency's.
- Act as the first point of contact for the cardiac catheter services.
- Deal effectively and proactively with all enquires.
- Provide support for clinical colleagues.
- Managing and organising own work schedule.
- Coordinate referrals and book on to relevant systems.
- Ensure all appointments are managed in line with the Trust access policy.
- Manage the filling system and ensure all follow up appointments are arranged.
- Ensure the electronic diary is up to date.
