Role Overview & Responsibilities

Research Paramedic / Clinician to cover maternity leave until end of January 2024. The role will support and deliver a range of Trust approved research studies across the Trust region.

The Trust is seeking to appoint a Research Paramedic / Clinician to support the work of Research Support Services to cover maternity leave. The post holder will be required to travel throughout the Trust region and attend national events. Main duties will be to support delivery of Trust approved research studies, prepare research bids for funding, and develop robust links with regional research speciality groups, health and social care providers, and higher education institutions.

The successful applicant will need to be able to work on their own initiative under the guidance of the Head of Research. Knowledge of current research legislation, processes, procedures, and statistical techniques will be required.

Research Support Services is a small yet cohesive Team working predominantly from home whilst attached to local Trust premises for administrative tasks. The Team support a wide range of research across the Trust region.
