We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Financial Analyst. The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting financial analysis and reporting for our finance company that finances equipment used in construction. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing financial models and forecasts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitor performance
- Monitor and track financial performance against budget and forecast
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability
- Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques
