Reports to: Shift Leader / Senior Operative

Job Brief: We are looking to recruit an experienced warehouse operative to become a long-term member of our team. We supply just in time parts into 2 JLR sites in Birmingham and in house training on our MHE/scanners will be provided for the successful candidates.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (overtime as required)
Shift Times: Monday – Thursday 06:00 - 15:00, Friday 06:00 - 12:30 (40 hours per week with 30 minutes unpaid beak per shift)
Pay Rate: £22713.60 per annum (£10.92)

Job specifications / duties
- Drive HLOP to pick parts
- Use handheld scanners to ensure correct parts are picked
- Decanting parts from bags / cardboard boxes into delivery bins
- Wrapping of pallets
- Use reach truck to put deliveries away in pallet racking
- Unload/load trailers with counterbalance FLT
- Learn and be able to complete goods in process
- Good housekeeping to ensure the warehouse is always tidy to a high standard
Key skills needed to apply for this role
- Previous warehouse experience
- Previous use of MHE – even if out of date refreshers can be provided
- Previous experience of using handheld scanners preferred but not essential
- Basic knowledge of warehouse goods in advantageous
- Keen to learn new skills
