Position Overview:
As Transport and Logistics Coordinator you will control and co-ordinate the Supply Chain transport through 3PL contracts and preferred couriers to meet the supply chain delivery promise and service excellence targets.
Job Description:
Transport and Logistics Coordinator Job Description:
- Co-ordinate transport ensuring that delivery times and schedules are met. Co-ordinate all non-conformance issues with transport suppliers ensuring actions are taken and problems resolved.
- Work with preferred transport suppliers to ensure we get best service and cost. Co-ordinate the transport invoices to ensure correct costs are charged and accounted for. (25%)
- Support Transport and Logistics controller in managing transport suppliers through regular supplier reviews and measurement. Ensure all Transport Suppliers conform to Finning Health and Safety rules.
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure inbound / outbound deliveries are co-ordinated to meet ours and customers needs. Targets to align with OTIF, Delivery on time and asset turns.
