Babysitter
The Den - Fowey Hall Hotel
Contract: Zero Hour Contract
Salary: £18.00 Per Hour
We are currently recruiting for a Babysitter to join the team at Fowey Hall Hotel - Part of Luxury Family Hotels.
This role is a bank position and hours and shifts will be available on sporadic dates. We are particularly busy over weekends, school holidays and half term. The rate of pay will be £18 Per Hour.
Role
At each of our properties we have a dedicated creche – The Den. The age ranges up to 8 years old and is available for all guests staying at the hotel for 90 mins free complimentary time per day for their child to explore and engage with the Den team! It is about creating special memories for the children to cherish and allow the adults to have some time just to be them!
We offer babysitting services to our guests as an additional charge so they are able to enjoy a meal out or time in the spa knowing their little ones are well looked after/
As Babysitter your core purpose will be :
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment: You will ensure a safe and welcoming environment is created for all of the children in our care and ensure that their needs are met throughout the session. You will be expected to interact confidently with the parents and ensure any requests made are adhered to. You will be expected to understand a childs routine and report back to the parents once the session is over- Make long lasting unique memories: Through interactive play and creative activities you will work together as a team to make long lasting unique memories for our smallest guests.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working within a similar childcare setting
- Accredited childcare/playwork qualification Level 2 or 3 is essential
- Creativity and passion for childcare is essential.
- Paediatric First aid qualification is desirable but not essential
