Project Coordinator

Purpose Of Position

This position will be responsible for designing and implementing operation efficiency solutions for continuous improvement that will support long-term competitive advantage for Del Monte Fresh Produce, Inc and Mann Packing. This position will require specific knowledge of the company's operational network, review of its existing technologies and processes and the candidate will have to skillful in liaising stakeholders in Corporate and North America Operations to execute all projects successfully.

Accountabilities

Identify technological solutions to evaluate and analyze and monitor current process and capabilities to improve operational performance. Identify new capabilities though technological applications to maximize operational performance and achieve long-term competitive advantage. Assist on the design and implementation projects related to Operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) needed to track efficiency and utilization of the Operational Network (e.g., Distribution Centers and Fresh Cut Operations) in Del Monte Fresh Produce Inc. Coordinate resources and effort behind projects aimed to revamp the service level KPIs across the supply chain in Del Monte Fresh Produce, Inc. Manage operational projects that require asset repositioning through the network under rigorous scheduled and scrutiny of cost while mitigating risk and coordinating with key project stakeholders Prepare and maintain documentation of project activities, including but not limited to, weekly status memos, project deliverables and signoffs, upper management meetings, and SOP efficiency meetings. Schedule, facilitate, and/or participate in meetings related to supported enterprise business solutions. Function as a liaison with other public and private agencies and individuals, business units, and software vendors. Work with department leaders and team members to implement a project schedule and ensure that teams meet milestones throughout the project lifecycle, as well as take active role in preventing delays and ensuring that deliverables are completed according to the schedule. Special projects as assigned.

Minimum Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience in a similar role. Must have strong Operational and Financial background, including prior experience within the industry. Must have at least 1 year of related experience in supply chain management, logistics and/or project management. Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication (i.e verbal and written) and project management skills. Excellent knowledge of Power BI, as well as Microsoft Office Programs (i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio, SharePoint).

Preferred
