Locals will be considered at local ratePrevious perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.South Carolina RN License: MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active.RTO GUIDELINE FOR AUTO OFFERS: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the processWe can only submit to one MUSC unit/campus at a time. If you do submit to multiple job IDs, please mention in the submission what their top choice is.Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
