We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. The role:

Overall to be responsible for the organising, administering and monitoring of all sources of student finance which will include: Financial Contingency Funds, EMAs and Adult Learning Grants and Family Action Grants.

  • 22.5 Hours Per Week
  • Permanent, Part Time
  • Salary - £11,621 - £12,650 pro rata
  • Swansea, SA2 9EB

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote all sources of funding for students and develop good working relationships with students, College staff and external providers.
  • Maintain and develop, as required, systems and procedures for the administration of student funding in conjunction with the Finance Department and Student Finance Wales.
  • Administer all Student Funds, as and when necessary, including the FCF, ALG, and EMA funds and Family Action Grants
  • Liaise with students and tutors regarding funding issues.

About you:

  • Level 3 qualification (A Level or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent including Maths and English
  • Knowledge of administration and financial systems
  • Good IT skills – MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
