Casual Events Steward (Ref: 001550)
Location: Great Yarmouth
Pay rate: £10.90 per hour
Great Yarmouth Borough Council is an ambitious local authority with big plans for the future and massive opportunities ahead. Providing high quality events is at the heart of our plans for the future. We are looking to build up a bank of people who would be interested in being part of our events including our Visit Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival taking place over the weekend of 1st and 2ndJuly.
We are looking for people who can
- Assist with public events in line with Council procedures and as directed by the Event’s organiser
- Assist in providing highly visible events stewarding, helping the public and assisting in the smooth running of events
- Assisting with health and safety at events, and adhere to events safety standards
Are you?
- Smart, alert and can have a visible presence
- Able to provide high levels of customer service
- Able to patrol events areas as directed by the event organisers
- Able to communicate with the public, providing relevant information, helping and directing them as required
Do you have?
- First Aid and security procedures awareness and can act accordingly as required
- Hospitality experience (not essential)
