Service Advisor - DAF Tamworth
Basic Salary: £28,000 basic and £30,880 with achieved bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm plus some Saturday overtime
A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Service Advisor at our DAF Tamworth site.
What you’ll be doing:
- Dealing with customers bringing their vehicle for recall, service or repair.
- Providing feedback to customers on their service/repair, including pricing of additional work when required, explaining the reasons fully and competently.
- Taking bookings for service work by telephone, obtaining all necessary details in respect of work required, nature of problems and wherever possible identifying specific faults.
- Delivering high level of customer service.
- Liaising with Technicians.
- Keeping customers informed of their vehicle’s progress throughout the day.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience in a Service department as a Service Administrator or Advisor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organised and good attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Previous experience using invoicing systems
