Role Overview & Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Real Estate Portfolio Manager

· Active participant in developing the overall investment strategy for the investment portfolio.

· Contribute to the development of the strategic and tactical asset allocation process.

· Manage relationships with external managers, including the ability to push back on managers when necessary.

· Review individual transactions that are being considered for the portfolio.

· Contribute toward defining and implementing performance benchmarks for the portfolio and help in the performance attribution process.

· Support business case processes which serve as basis for senior management decisions on new infrastructure projects

· Act as financial consultant for real estate project managers in collaboration with finance department

· Maintain and further develop documentation of running and completed projects.

Qualifications for real estate portfolio manager

· 5 years experience in Facilities Management and Relationship Management

· 5 years experience of Facilities Management in a corporate setting in multiple locations

· 5+ years of progressive real estate investment or commercial real estate experience gained from a global leader in financial services, investment banking or other comparable industry

· Proven research, financial modelling, analytical and institutionally recognized valuation skills

Experience leading successful negotiations with multiple stakeholders from multiple geographies and executing a wide
