Henry James group is a family run development compnay currently building out projects in the glouestershire area.
We are looking for a Brick Mason to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in brick and block masonry, including laying bricks and blocks, mixing mortar, and constructing walls and other structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut bricks and blocks to required sizes.
- Mix mortar and other materials to the right consistency.
- Lay bricks and blocks in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Repair and maintain existing brickwork.
- Inspect brickwork for defects or damage.
- Clean up job sites after work is completed.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £20.00-£28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cinderford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Bricklaying: 10 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
