Hocus Pocus is a tiny hotel with 5 rooms in the city centre of York, in the Shambles area.
Housekeeper duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure all rooms/bathrooms and common areas are cleaned to a high standard - training will be provided
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and property in your work area
- Responsible in reporting at once guests' lost property and maintenance issues
- Accountable for achieving and exceeding our guest satisfaction score
- Ensure all cleaning products are stored safely and securely at all times
- Ensure daily laundry is stored properly
- To comply with P&P Health and Safety policy
- Housekeeping experience within a hotel
- Ability to follow instructions
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Basic spoken English is essential as sometimes is necessary to communicate with guests on arrival or departure
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week
Salary: From £11.50 per hour
