As a Store Person, you will despatch, receiving, handling, storage and protection of parts to provide on-time delivery of material to customers, both internal and external.
What Needs To Be Done?
- Deliver required materials to customers (internal and external) in a timely manner by following guidelines and standards.
- Deliver excellence through “Right First Time” pick of materials.
- Comply with Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 by working to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain audit and specification requirements by adhering to Works Standard Instruction guidelines and standard work procedures.
- Support Lean principles by optimising efficiencies through reduction of costs & improvement of quality and delivery.
- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with Company Environmental Health & Safety
- Procedures.
- Completion of compressor and parts delivery by material preservation, packing and minor assembly functions.
- Support supply chain integrity by ensuring inventory accuracy.
What Do You Need To Bring?
Essential skills, knowledge & behaviours
- Fork Lift Truck Certification
- Lifting & Slinging Certification
- Proven Material handling
- Computer literate - Basic Inventory control
- Spray painting and spray washing
Desirable skills, knowledge & behaviours
- Flexibility
- Lean Manufacturing skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet delivery deadlines
