Architect - high end residential

About:

My client is a full service architectural and engineering practice who works across London, Hertfordshire and Essex. Due to growth, they are looking to expand their team of Architects and looking for a technically minded individual to join their friendly company.

The role will be predominantly working on high end residential houses (2 million upwards).

Duties:

·Work on a variety of high-end residential properties and one-off apartments/penthouses, plus large apartment buildings and mixed-use schemes ranging from £1m to £30m in construction value.

·Run a project through all RIBA stages from concept to completion.

·Prepare and develop drawings, models and images, and other documents related to design

·Produce detailed technical construction information on the project.

·Work within a small project team

·Use Revit / AutoCAD on a daily basis.

·Supervise more junior team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of working on high-quality residential projects

• documented experience of working on RIBA Stages 4 and 5 with good construction and detailing experience

• A technical problem solver with the ability to work out architectural solutions whilst running jobs on site

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative

• Experience of working with contractors and consultants

• Proficiency in BIM with outstanding design and technical skills

• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English;

• Friendly and personable, with the ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
