The Pool Technician/Operator is a key member of our Engineering team Hyatt is an equal opportunity employer. This role is responsible for the following duties:
Test and monitor chemical levels in pools and water features to meet Health Code standards Add chemicals as needed to maintain proper water conditions Vacuum, skim and brush pools Perform preventive maintenance Replace lighting in underwater fixtures Repair and fit piping for pool equipment Service, repair or replace pool pumps, filters, and heaters Maintain and manage inventory and supplies Follow all property safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store materials Perform other tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous pool and spa maintenance experience is desired. Current CPO (certified pool operator) certification desired or the ability to obtain within 30 days. Good customer skills are also required. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Ability to m ove up and down stairs, ramps, and/or ladders.
