About the opportunity
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks within our central Sales and Marketing team.
Your main duties will include the following:
- Receipt of customer enquiries via email, phone and customer portals
- Contact with external suppliers where required
- Register enquiries on internal trackers
- Tracking customer enquiries via trackers and online dashboards
- Expediting responses from suppliers
- Building back up total costs for all BoM component parts
- Supporting the Sales Engineers in their day to day tasks
Ideally you will have:
- Have an organised approach to work
- Work as part of a busy customer facing sales team
- Demonstrate a keen interest in Engineering willingness to learn
- Can do approach to work
- Excellent communications skills
- Have a good team working ethic, be pro-active and motivated.
- IT literate, with skills in the Microsoft suite of software, in particular Excel.
