Role Overview & Responsibilities

Are you a confident, outgoing, team player looking for a role where they can meet new people and deliver great customer service? The city centre ibis Birmingham Bordesley Circus is looking for a new Guest Services Assistant on a casual basis, with a salary £10.50 per hour plus benefits.

Officially known as a Guest Service Assistant (GSA), you will be the beating heart of our hotel; and have an opportunity to get involved in everything; from serving at the bar and dinner, preparing breakfast, and taking reservations, to helping our guests with any questions they may have.

You’ll need to be great at juggling tasks and turning your hand to many different things.

We’re looking for individuals who can really shine in a busy setting, who are comfortable and confident in meeting and engaging with new people and who have a passion for great customer service.

There are no specific education or qualification requirements for this job, but it would be advantageous if you have previously worked in a customer-facing role and have the following preferred skills;

• computer literate
• team worker
• flexibility in your work pattern

Job Type: Zero hours contract

• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Birmingham, B10 0PD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
