Packing and Despatch Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Packing and Despatch Assistant to work within a small friendly team at our production unit located at Gagingwell, Chipping Norton, OX7 4EF.

The Packing and Despatch Assistant must be able to work under pressure, meeting deadlines, be capable of thinking on their feet and able to prioritise their workload.

ila prides itself on customer service therefore packing and despatch, is a reflection on the presentation of ila’s products when sent to the customers worldwide.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to use initiative, to work effectively, both as part of a team and on their own, and to have a positive, friendly, and helpful approach to supporting colleagues.
• Ability to work in a methodical and tidy manner
• Taking responsibility for the products being packed and sent to customer to the highest possible standard.
• Insuring products are packed correctly to the company SOP standards and monitoring stock levels of finished stock.
• Booking in deliveries with couriers, ensuring the correct paperwork is submitted.

We are looking for team players with a strong attention to detail that takes pride in the products they are despatching.

Will need own transport as we are located in a rural location

Full training will be given.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00 per hour
