Self-employed couriers
Our business is continuing to expand and we now require further self-employed couriers, (Own Vehicle/ Van is required) . This job requires driving from County Durham and setting up and collecting our hatching kits in pre-booked schools, nurseries and care homes. We cover Cheshire, Cumbria, County Durham, East Riding of Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Northumberland, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Teesside, Tyne & Wear, West Yorkshire and Scotland.
Reliability and good time-keeping are essential. We're looking for trustworthy, committed people that won't let us down. There is also the opportunity to secure further work on an annual basis. All successful applicants will be required to complete a mornings training before employment commences and take a short test in order to gain a Certificate of Competence, which is necessary for this role.
To join us you'll need:
A full, valid UK driving license.
A VAN OR LARGE ESTATE STYLE CAR with Sat Nav and mobile phone.
No unspent criminal convictions and the right to work in the UK.
The correct level of vehicle insurance.
Public liability insurance (we can help with this).
The ability to plan and cover your deliveries to ensure that whatever the day brings, the job gets done.
To be comfortable working alone and with early starts.
To have the ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Enjoy working with children and animals.
Excellent communication skills and a good 'people person'.
