This position requires experience with enhancing and maintaining an existing data warehouse, integration of various source data systems, deploys and tests enhancements to the Data Warehouse system, including user interfaces, ETL processes, and data analysis.The Senior Datawarehouse/ETL Developer must have DW SDLC knowledge and experience with MS-SQL Server database development, SQL Server Integration Services, Data Warehouse and database modeling and Data Warehouse architecture. Must have skills : MS SSIS (Extract, Transform, and Load)Data Warehouse Architecture & Design ConceptsSQL System AgentMS Office ToolsMS SQL server 2014 or later Job Role Specific Requirements:Data warehouse SDLCExpertise in DW/ETL development lifecycle for new development and maintenance & SupportSDLC Experience with Data Migration related projectsProvide the realistic effort and schedule estimation for the work involved Data Integration Services Maintenance & SupportOversee and manage all data imports, exports, and other interconnections to and from the Data Warehouse (DW).Develop technical requirements, level of effort and scheduling estimates, and implement DW enhancements as requested by the DW Steering Committee.Adjust existing ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) routines for new data elements and data sources and integrate new data into DW.Oversee and monitor SQL System Agent jobs and analyze any failures. Data Integration Services DevelopmentArchitect, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy ETLs based on the Standards and needs. Data QualityVerify that existing DW Dashboards are properly reflecting current DW values.Data Quality Check Audits and Maintenance.Develop the QA deliverables including Testing approach, Test Cases and Test Plan Task DocumentationExperience in Requirement collection process from the Business Users and documenting the same andfollow the approval process.Provide updated and current technical and user documentation for DW use and operation.Create and maintain the necessary documentations across SDLC. System MaintenanceManage database storage, database performance, data availability, perform database compaction and manage the Data Warehouse database size.Perform database consistency checks between Data Warehouse and all other system interacting with Data Warehouse. This is a Contract to hire opportunity.Duration: 6+ MonthLocation: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid – 1 day on-site ) Pay Rate: $ 45- 50/hr. After 6 Month its Full-time role – Salary would be - $100k Plus benefits.
