Role Overview & Responsibilities
An amazing opportunity within our Balmenach Distillery- the home of Caorunn Gin.
Since 2009, Caorunn Gin has been handcrafted in small batches at Balmenach Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. The unique blend of 5 handpicked Celtic botanicals & 6 classic gin botanicals are distilled in the world's only working Copper Berry Chamber to extract maximum flavour.
Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Brand Homes Manager you will be responsible for managing the Brand Home and team to ensure the smooth running of the Brand Home and Tour planning whilst delivering consistency in all aspects throughout the Brand Home.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Distillery Management Team, Team of Operators and Brand Homes Manager to ensure the Brand Home team consistently deliver a 5-star customer experience.
- Work closely with the Brand and Marketing teams in the interests of the Brand.
- Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Brand Home including: -
- Oversee of tour scheduling, timings, and staffing
- Booking System
- Customer enquiries
- Stock control
- Customer Sales
- Administration and Invoicing
- To undertake a range of HC activities including recruitment, absence management, scheduling, holiday planning and general staff management.
- Ensure delivery of all mandatory staff training in order to remain compliant.
- Local promotion of the Brand Home.
Working Conditions
This role will be based at the distillery and will involve indoor and outdoor work. This role may involve travel to other Brand Homes, head office and brand events.

- A genuine passion for the spirits industry
- Self-starter, able to work under own initiative
- PC literate
- Excellent communication skills, outgoing and feel confident presenting to groups.
Preferred Experience
- Literate and numerate
- Experience/knowledge of the spirits industry desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality or Brand Home environment would be highly advantageous
- Experience of working in an environment with high customer service expectations and delivery
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: From £23,000.00 per year
