Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Registered Nursewho wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS on the Infusion Suite. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients and staff receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards βgreat people, great placeβ.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care. You will need to be a registered nurse who has excellent, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
A hard working, flexible approach is essential in this busy, developing department.
As a member of the Infusion Suite, you will be responsible and accountable for providing an agreed standard of individualised care to allocated groups of patients.
It is expected that the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a continued commitment to professional development and learning. You will be required to support and assist their colleagues, visiting professionals, students and staff new to the unit. In return they will be supported to undertake training and competences relating to all aspects of Intravenous nursing.

Provide a high- quality standard of care for patients in an environment conducive to learning for all staff.
To ensure that relationships and own behaviour is managed in line with the Trusts competencies.
Take charge of the ward/clinical unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse/Team Leader and deputy.
Act as an advocate for patients at all time, to ensure the highest levels of care are delivered.
Provide infusion therapy including cannulation for patients.
Provide venesections for patients that require them.
