What will I be responsible for?
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible, and capable Accounts Assistant with good attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of a busy accounts department including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cash Book, and Nominal Ledger.
General duties include:
· Flexibility to support across all ledgers to ensure Departmental deadlines are met
· Accurate cashbook transaction processing
· Management of monthly company credit card reconciliation process
· Supporting the Management Accountant with ad-hoc tasks where necessary
· Opportunity to be involved in Internal Audit process of our Internal Management System

If you have previous experience in a busy Accounts office, this could be the ideal role for you. The successful Accounts Assistant will also need the following skills and competencies:
· Strong IT skills in MS excel, MS office and experience of using bespoke IT systems.
· Proactive, self-motivated and work on own initiative.

· Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
