What you will be doing...
Procurement Buyer, based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, our Procurement Buyer will work as a key part of the Procurement Team as well as Working as One Team in collaboration with colleagues across Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, helping to shape sub-category strategy and lead/support the associated tender and negotiation processes for the business.
What will you do in the role?
As our Procurement Buyer, you will lead on the development of designated category strategies to help promote the commercial position of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays to relevant suppliers, building strong working relationships and leveraging those relationships to drive improved service and cost reduction for the business. You will also: -

You will also: -
- Take Responsibility for the delivery of all commercial and contractual agreements in your assigned business areas, as directed by the Procurement management team, providing the first point of escalation for category and supplier performance issues for colleagues across Jet.com and Jet2holidays
- Own and deliver annual savings targets for specific categories as agreed with the Senior Procurement Manager, whilst acting as a role model for non-procurement colleagues
- Support the delivery of a seamless end-to-end procurement service
What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?
You will have an in-depth knowledge of Procurement & experience in direct/in-direct buying across categories, with the ability to demonstrate experience in using innovative approaches to procuring services and managing relationships with suppliers. You will also:
- Be an excellent communicator, & have proven experience of being able to build long-standing relationships with internal/external stakeholders/suppliers
- Be a highly effective negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Holding an MCIPS qualification would be beneficial but not essential
