Role Overview & Responsibilities

A part-time vacancy has arisen in our independent accountancy firm for an Accountant with at least 3 year’s experience of working in an accountancy practice.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a team and managing their own portfolio of clients. Although qualifications aren’t necessary, we do need someone who is able to prepare and finalise limited company accounts and who has a comprehensive knowledge of Tax and VAT. The ability to use Xero and Quickbooks accounting systems is also required.

We are seeking self-motivated, detail oriented, professional candidates who are able to handle multiple tasks with deadlines and timely reporting. Communication skills, confidence and flexibility are vital to help provide a great client experience.

We have a positive team spirit where we all help and look out for each other, the offices are spacious and welcoming and there is free parking on site.

The hours are flexible with a minimum of 21 hours per week. Some remote working may be available, but at least 2 days per week are to be on site at our Liphook office. The equivalent full-time salary is between £35,100 and £42,900 depending on experience.

Start date is immediate.
