Job summary

The States of Jersey Ambulance are seeking to recruit hard working individuals with a caring and professional attitude to join our emergency response teams. We currently have vacancies for Trainee Ambulance Technician as part of our highly skilled and motivated Frontline Ambulance Services in a role that will see you working alongside ambulance Paramedics, providing life changing prehospital care to the public of Jersey.

In addition to the basic salary the post also currently receives a 20% shift allowance. Training packages will be provided based on the requirements of successful applicants considering any previous qualifications and experience.

Training and development to meet the essential criteria for the post may be provided and all applicants are advised to demonstrate any appropriate qualifications they may currently hold (FREC, AAP). Applicants may be required to undertake assessment to determine suitability for the role. These assessments may include theoretical, physical and driving assessments as well as opportunities to demonstrate your ability to work well in a team or alone on complex task.

All applicants must hold a clean C1 Jersey Driving Licence and will be subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks prior to receiving an offer of employment.
