The Role
Kings Place is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to help ensure comprehensive financial and business support for Kings Place. The role supports the day to day running of the finance department, systems and controls to ensure the delivery of the best possible service to KPMF’s internal and external customers.
As part of a small and passionate team the Finance Assistant will help the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Director, supporting the work of the whole Kings Place team and providing a vital function for the organisation.
The Person
Our ideal candidate will be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT/CIMA/ACCA) with a good grasp of technical financial matters (e.g. VAT). They would also have a keen interest in the arts/conferencing business and knowledge of Aqilla web-based accountancy system.
We are also interested in candidates who are newer to the industry with some experience. They would have a good base understanding in financial matters and be willing to learn new skills and processes. Salary: £22,000 – £26,000, pro-rata (depending on qualifications and experience)
This role is part time, 20 hours per week.
Kings Place operates a hybrid working model. The role is partially venue based, for meetings and collaborative working. Administrative work can be done remotely. Staff work approximately 60% on site and 40% WFH. This role is open to flexible working arrangements.
