Full Job Description
Occasional Pharmacy Delivery Driver – Portsmouth, Dorchester and West London
£10.50 per hour (will increase after successful probation period -3month probation)
Expected start date - ASAP
This zero hours post would suit someone who is available to cover shifts at short notice and can be scheduled in advance to cover holidays for our team of 10 drivers.
- Responsibilities include the delivery of medication to patient homes across the city, visiting doctors’ surgeries and liaising with pharmacy staff.
- The vehicle will be based and kept overnight at Kingston Road Pharmacy, PO1 5RX so you must be able to make your way there.
- Deliveries will be collected from our Portsmouth branches, and you will be required to use the ProDelivery app so previous experience with Amazon/DPD/similar or demonstrable tech literacy is required.
- This is a responsible position, the ideal candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic with a high level of attention to detail.
- You may also be required to deliver to/collect from our branches in Cosham, Botley, Gosport, Hayling, West London and Dorchester.
- Must have a full driving licence, experience not essential but familiarity with the city is necessary.
- The routes can have up to 50 deliveries a day, the candidte must be fit and used to multi drop driving or similar activities
