Security Guard
Based: Greencroft Estate, Greencroft Parkway, DH9 7XP
Salary & Benefits: £10.20 per hour which equates to £25,500. Overtime available to cover absences and holidays. Company pension, onsite parking & Company Profit Share scheme paid annually.
Hours: 4 x 12 hour shifts a week. Rota Based.
Overview
The Lanchester Group operates out of 440,000 sq ft premises in Greencroft, soon to be over 600,000 sq ft of warehousing and production facilities. Housing multiple businesses, we have visitors and courier companies to the site regularly that need to be directed. The production facility, Greencroft Bottling, works 24 hours/ 5 days a week and occasional weekends but most other activity is during business hours. We are a bonded HMRC controlled site so we operate the onsite gatehouse 24/7 365 days a year.
Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome visitors to site and direct them to car park/ main entrances
Welcome external drivers to site and direct them to loading bays
Maintain accurate security records & practices
Operate security barriers
Monitor on-site CCTV
Required/ Desired
Experience in a security role
Good communication skills & a calm manner
Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
SIA Certification
A clean DBS history
2 Good references
Computer Literate
