We have a very large client base of Care Homes, Nursing Homes and clients who require 1:1 support. And also for floor shifts.
Job Description:
- Motivating patients to help restore and improve their health and self-esteem
- Providing medication to patients and providing pre- and post-operation care
- Providing psychological and physical support to parents, family members and friends
- Identifying patient care requirements
- Assuring the quality of care to patients through adhering to therapeutic standards
- Ensuring that patients and fellow employees adhere to infection control policies and protocols, medicine storage and administration procedures and substance control regulations
- Evaluating patients who complain of specific aliments
- Examining and authenticating vaccination records
Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills, great empathy for others and the ability to maintain kindness and compassion for everyone
- Great physical strength and endurance and the ability to lift heavy equipment and patients
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent critical-thinking skills and the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
- Team-oriented mentality and good leadership skills
- Extreme diligence to work during weekends and on bank holidays
- Open-mindedness and willingness to learn and improve their skills and competence
