About the role:
We are currently recruiting for freelance PPN/Gym/Fitness assessors to join our growing team. This is a flexible, freelance role, and can be completed around other current commitments.
The role will include the marking of assignments on our online portals.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage a caseload of learners using a range of online portals
- Ensure marking of assignment submissions is completed within the organisations required timescales (this is 5 currently working days)
- Maintain an appropriate level of CPD for all subjects for which you are employed to assess. This includes, where relevant, suitable occupational experience and CPD work experience
- Maintain the standards of assessing expected by the organisation by complying with all Quality Assurance policies and processes
- Contribute to the Quality Assurance Framework by attending, and contributing to, a minimum of 2 formal standardisation meetings per annum, as arranged by the relevant IQA or Head of Quality
- Contribute to the Quality Assurance Framework by maintaining own CPD and submitting 2 formal CPD Records per annum as requested by the relevant IQA or Head of Quality
- Use the agreed messaging systems to communicate with learners to maintain an appropriate audit trail of communications
What we are looking for in you:
- Worked in Fitness/Gym background for more than 2 years
- Previous Assessor experience
- Level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Postnatal Clients with Exercise and Nutrition
- Gym/Fitness Qualification to Level 3
- Assessors must hold, or be working towards, any of the following:• Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment. • Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement. • Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment. • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. • A1 (previously D32, D33).
