We are currently seeking a Dining Assistant/Breakfast Server for a vacancy within Abbey House, Care Home.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to;
- Taking orders for breakfast from the residents ensuring that choices are offered
- Serving breakfast to residents
- Support with feeding where appropriate
- Serving drinks to residents
- Setting up eating areas with crockery and cutlery
- Promoting hand hygiene before eating
- Ensure a good dining experience for the residents
- Advise the Home Manager and Care Services staff concerning any changes in a resident’s dietary habits, in particular reporting and noting any instances where a resident refuses food
