Real Estate Development Accounting Manager, (125K-130K+Bonus)

As they continue to expand their portfolio and take on new ventures, the company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager with experience in real estate development accounting, full cycle accounting, and a CPA certification is a plus.
This Position pays 125K-130K+ Bonus.
The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of real estate development projects. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following key tasks:
Oversee and manage all aspects of real estate development accounting, including tracking project costs, revenue recognition, and capitalization of development expenses.Collaborate with project teams to create accurate budgets and forecasts for ongoing and upcoming developments.Prepare financial reports related to each development project, highlighting key financial metrics and variances to budget.Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, interpreting financial data and providing meaningful insights.Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws.Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and implement any necessary audit recommendations.Identify training needs and provide ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plusMinimum 6 years of experience in real estate development accounting, preferably within the real estate industry.Extensive knowledge of full cycle accounting principles and practices.
