Yard Assistant – Lloyd Ltd Bishop Auckland
An opportunity has arisen for a Yard Assistant to join our growing team at Lloyd Ltd Bishop Auckland.
Job Role
As a Yard Assistant you will play a key role behind the scenes within the Company to support our fast-paced Sales and Service departments. As part of the role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the depot yard is kept organised at all times and assisting with collections and deliveries of machinery. You will also be responsible for ensuring all machinery is maintained and prepared to the highest standard.
Job Criteria
The ideal Yard Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Experience working in a similar role, or with machinery (essential)
- An interest in Agricultural, Construction and/or Groundcare/Lawncare machinery
- Good communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent team working ethos and the ability to be pro-active and use initiative

Contract Type – Permanent
Working Hours – 39 hours per week working Monday to Friday with additional overtime available.
