Salary - Year 1 - £7 per hour

The Role:
From engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features, technicians are skilled in all aspects of car mechanics and electronics. A technician's responsibilities may include the following:
- Servicing vehicles - maintaining cars by performing checks and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
- Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs
- Maintaining repair and service records
- Investigating reported issues with the help of specialised tools and diagnostic equipment, as well as seeking guidance from senior employees as needed
- Developing and comprehending the relevant documents for warranty work
The Training:
All BMW Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentices receive their off-the-job training at the BMW Group Academy UK. This guarantees consistent training across the UK and enables our apprentices to study the most up-to-date products and technology. Over the course of three years, the training is conducted in both workshops and classroom settings.
Qualification: Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician
The Ideal Candidate:
Applicants must possess the following:
- GCSE grades level 4 or above in English, Maths and two other subjects (or equivalent qualifications)
- Team player
- Dependable and punctual
- Attention to detail
- Ability to operate well under pressure
