You will be required to perform a wide range of analytical methods including HPLC (e.g. size exclusion, ion exchange), electrophoresis (e.g. CE SDS, icIEF), spectrophotometry and general characteristic analysis (e.g. visual appearance, pH, Osmolality) for the purpose of assessing the stability of therapeutic proteins and for batch release.
All work is expected to be carried out in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with local EHS policies and cGMP guidelines
Key requirements:
- Theoretical knowledge in the principles of a range of analytical methods
- An awareness of cGMP guidelines and how adherence to GMP impacts the way we work
- An ability to make quality decisions based on the best available scientific data
- A proactive nature with a desire to learn and willingness to impart knowledge
- Willingness to undertake a range of tasks for the effective running of the department.
- Bachelor of Science, preferred area of study: Biology or related
- Previous experience within GMP an advantage.
- Team player, good time management and good communication skills
