This role is suited to someone wanting to grow into an experienced technician. This is not an apprenticeship, due to the nature of our vehicles and role type but it is a role where you will be tasked with jobs from sweeping and tidying - to being taught to assemble and fabricate components and composites.
You must embrace the challenge of producing outstanding results on your own without the need for constant supervision.
The ideal candidate will have real enthusiasm and a willingness to learn how to manufacture and assemble various components and integrating them into pre-formed chassis.
We expect applicants to have proven dexterity, to be quick to learn and to enjoy building complex systems. Full time role for an immediate start.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Preferred experience working in a team in a hands-on environment within any industry.
- Strong focus on quality and customer pride.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, tidy and organise workshop as requested.
- Assemble vehicle frames, motors, and other mechanical hardware.
- Ability to follow instruction and carry out a variety of duties.
- Use power tools with precision and in a safe manner.
- Test and follow quality assurance procedures.
- Able to multitask and work in a high pressure and task-oriented environment.
Desirable:
- Previous experience doing school or home hobby projects involving engineering
